Dreaming Beyond Ambiguity
Imagination is the power to believe in what cannot yet be seen.
By enduring uncertainty and venturing a step further, new paths begin to emerge. We met SNU people who are harnessing this power to envision the future from where they stand today.
The Seoul National University Library has begun its transformation into a “larchiveum”—a library, archive, and museum hybrid. This February, the university unveiled the Daishin Financial Group–SNU Heritage Lounge and Heritage Library within a 1,500-pyeong space linking the library’s main building, completed in 1975, and the Kwanjeong Building, which opened in 2015. Bringing together two buildings separated by nearly half a century, the newly unified space weaves visions of the future into the records of the past.
